2015 Equine Ambassador Program Application The Camp is June 28 – July 2, 2015   Equine Ambassadors The Texas 4-H Equine Ambassador program strives to provide high school aged 4-H members the opportunity to develop and practice advanced leadership skills related to mentoring other youth, and to become advocates for the equine industry in Texas.

Photography Workshop

The Photography Workshop has been CANCELLED! 2015 TCFA Junior Fed Beef Challenge

The objective of the Junior Fed Beef Challenge is to encourage young people to gain practical experience in feeding commercial beef cattle.  This program stresses the importance of proper animal husbandry and financial management. Howard College Lamb & Goat Camp

Howard College and the HC Agriculture Department present the 2015 Lamb Camp June 7-9 and 2015 Goat Camp June 14-16.  This year’s camps will be held at the Howard College G.C. Broughton Agriculture Complex on the Howard College campus.

2015 Texas 4-H Opportunity Scholarship County Application Deadline January 20th Open to all graduating 4-H seniors, applications must be submitted through the County Office and meet all criteria to be considered. Texas 4-H Youth Development Program Opportunity Scholarships are ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS awarded each year to applicants based on their academic record, 4-H experience, and financial need (for scholarships for which it is a required criterion).
